The USSEP is one of those things that works great for most people, but not so much for a minority of players. I happen to be one of the outliers: I don't like many of the changes it makes, the fact that it despawns naturally permanent corpses is an unforgivable sin in my eyes, and the file size is monstrously off-putting. The best option when faced with a mod update, TC, is to favorite it to tag it then disable and delete it.
Followed by a hard reset to the console by holding down the power button on the console itself. Wait at least 15 seconds, then power it back on, follow either step's short of a voodoo dance to side step the "operation could not be completed" bug.
Two steps to temporarily avoid the bug are: -Go to Skyrim, load up, sit at title screen, then exist via pressing down on the home button, go to Skyrim in that tab, and choose 'quite', then go to another game app, load that game, sit at it's 'start' screen, then do the same steps as before. Unfortunately, you'll have to repeat this process a few times, back and forth for it to work. Wait there a few seconds, then go back online, then back out, and try to download mod, if that message appears, don't exit the game or anything, just press the home button and rinse and repeat, it may take several attempts, but it eventually works.
Simply updating the mod seems to be apart of the "operation I would also avoid updating a mod mid playthrough, especially if it has scripts, as if those are changed, then your saved data is forever messed up. Best to either wait till you're done with that playthrough, or to delete all saves from the settings, choose "delete from everywhere'' to ensure there's no data floating about when you remove or update a mod, it's just above the saved data of your mods from pressing home button again deleting from the games title screen doesn't actually delete them, I found out well over a year ago.

Usually works for me after 2 or 3 tries. I have cleared my reserved mod space, that didn't fix the issue I have gone as far as re-installing the game itself. Still hasn't fixed the issue.
Can someone educate me? I miss playing my game, but I'm at that stage where I absolutely can't go back to Vanilla. Edit; Hard Resetting when the issue arrises works for me. Post your experiences if it doesn't so we can continue to help eachother. Edit 2; a lot of people have been mentioning hard resetting hasn't been working.
I've also been experiencing this. Another method I've found to have worked is switching profiles while on the main screen and then clicking on mods or creation club. Global Achievements. Spray View Profile View Posts. I have a few mods for Skyrim, and when I started the game up today all the mods were uninstalled!

This was just something quick to do instead of the otherway which was creating a guest account and logging in and out and back in again. Bethesda gave an update yesterday saying it will be fixed soon.
Take that with a grain of sault. Still not as easy as User Info: masterpug Thanks for the tip, just tried it out successfully when redownloading Tools of Kagrenac. Definitely less time-consuming than exiting to dashboard and retrying until it works. Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read.
