Oblivion download with graphical mods installed

It also includes compatable armor and clothing meshes and a seamless skin texture for both bodies. The mods below can be a little more complicated to install than the texture mods because of compatability issues that require patches.

Be Aware that Better Cities uses a custom file path for its textures, and that it will supercede the city textures of any mods above. I really like Better Cities, but some of its textures are kind of lower res compared the some of the textures installed above, but they still look decent.

Is probably not be compatible with Better Cities if you are going to use that mod. Make sure you want to use this. Don't forget to create a Bashed Patch using Wyre Bash. Optional If you have any performance problems, you can use the mod Optimizer textures to reduce the texture quality some to improve performance. Lougian's textures, Insanity Sorrow's weapon and armor textures and the creature textures from the Mythic mods might be a little taxing on some systems, but they sure do look good.

Although the project still has no official release date, after nearly ten years of dedicated work, the end result is shaping up to be mighty promising. Fans can learn even more about the mod from the team's official website.

Although it may be easy to overlook sometimes, a game's weather effects can have a significant impact on the overall presentation. The same is true for lighting as well. The lackluster nature of these effects goes a long way toward making Oblivion look as antiquated as it does.

Seven new weather types are added, greatly contributing to the diversity of Oblivion 's weather patterns. Sun glare, fog, and even the clouds themselves are also given a fresh coat of paint. It's all well and good for the natural environment to look better, but what about the player's primary weapons? When playing Oblivion , fans are going to spend an inordinate amount of time looking at their drawn weapons in the first-person view.

Fortunately, there's no need to stare at those ugly textures anymore. The Weapon Improvement Project adds an impressive amount of detail to the game's diverse variety of weapons.

Meshes and textures are given a true HD makeover that makes it difficult to ever go back to the way weapons used to appear. By now, Oblivion shows its age in a myriad of different aspects. One of the most glaring symbols of its age, as longtime fans no doubt already know, are the nearly identical dungeon designs.

After only a couple of forays into these subterranean vaults, players will have seen pretty much everything. In addition to a fresh new look, Better Dungeons adds some much-needed uniqueness to the proceedings. Players have new methods of traversing these dungeons, such as climbing ropes or squeezing through tight crevasses. The lighting is also given an overhaul, making the use of a torch more frequent. Don't reinstall Oblivion without this mod! When it comes to graphics, the devil is often in the details.

Anyone who has given the road network in Oblivion serious attention knows that it leaves much to be desired. Luckily, one of the most prolific mod authors for the Elder Scrolls series has fixed that problem. Created by Arthmoor, Roads of Cyrodiil adds several new thoroughfares and bridges to the game. The province of Cyrodiil now looks and feels more like an inhabited area of settlement.

Not only does this mod look great visually, but it also enhances the overall gameplay experience in a very lore-friendly manner. Aesthetically, Oblivion 's world map is similar to parchment. Your opponents have the same abilities, too, of course, making fights tactical and tense affairs.

Combat now looks and feels more visceral, too. Critical hits result in pleasingly ludicrous death animations and the new, Sam Fisher-esque stealth kills will see you snapping necks and slitting throats with brutal exuberance. It comes in several different forms to suit different PC specs, so don't pick one your machine can handle.

Even the lower-res versions are a big improvement, but the largest ones transform Cyrodiil completely, filling the world with intricate detail. Sick of only being able to see five items at a time in a list? Irritated by the gigantic fonts and clunky interface? Darnified UI completely redesigns Oblivion's user interface, renovating every menu screen to make it work properly on your monitor. It also replaces the world map with a beautiful, high-detail colour version.

It's not a major overhaul, but it makes everything slicker and easier to use. It'll work well with the other mods here, too. Natural Environments contains a series of subtle updates that work together to improve to the way the world looks and feels. With new dynamic weather effects, revamped water effects, foliage tweaks and the addition of birds and insects, Natural Environments does a great job of making Cyrodiil feels much more like a living, breathing world.

After download, unpack the file into the "Data" folder inside the Oblivion game-folder. There is a page that has collected most of them and sorted them in categories.

Unfortunately they all need to be installed manually by unpacking and choosing right files. To make things easy, I have repacked my personal choices into files that work with NMM.

NOTE: These are completely optional. If you choose not to install a replacer, just skip this, and any DMRA outfit changes further down the list. Mods 4: New Races. The resources from this mod are needed, but activating the esp will only result in double races.

Mods 5: Environment. Mods 6: New Buildings, Lands and Adventures. Mods 9: Vilja.
